Default Ordering Blower tommorow

Hey guys just wanted to let you know. Tommorow i'll be ordering an ATI D1SC with an sdce 8 rib setup, ATI super dampner, ATI crank pin kit. I will be leaving Kuwait in about 3 weeks hopefully it will all be waiting for me. I am ordering the 4" blower pulley since that is the biggest one they have. I don't really want to go over 8.5 lbs so I hope everything works out. Wish me luck I am no mechanic lol.

P.S this website rocks.

Why would you put a procharger on your car when the STS kit will make a billion rwhp?

No, really good luck with your blower man. Once you get the slip issues delt with you will be really happy.

They make a 4.25" pulley.

Also,if your looking around for prices we might be able to hook you up.I've seen advertised prices and they are alot higher than ours..

Well, I called sdce and they said the biggest blower pulley with their kit is 4"? Or does the sdce kit use the regular ati blower pulley? Hopefully someone with the sdce kit can chime in.

I have a 4.25 8 rib pulley sitting in my garage off a D1 Camaro kit I guess it could be custom from Procharger. The 4.25 pulley made 10lbs of boost at 6400rpm on a built/low compression motor. We are selling that kit used for $4500 B/O with a ATI race valve ($450) and whatever extra like belts, pipes ect.

I am pumped about getting home and getting to tear my car apart.lol Bad thing is I have to drive clear from Charleston Sc to Missouri in the middle of december. In my SS, I am praying for good weather. Thanks for the welcome home buddy.

YOu're going about this the right way. Avoiding a lot of the mistakes us earlier owners made. You'll love the kit and should be able to smack around a few cocky unsuspecting 03 cobras. Let us know when you have questions, cause we have answers.

Welcome home!! My brother just got back from afghanistan. Sounds like youve done your research on FI. Im no expert, but you might want to look at a different cam. That one looks like it might have a little too much overlap for FI. If I had it to do over I wouldve pieced together a kit. Maybe an F1 procharger or the YSI vortech. Now Im paying again for a bigger blower. Us truck guys dont get near the power you guys get.

Do u know whats the crank pulley size on the SDEC kit? If its anything larger than 7.5" then u might need a 4.25" blower pulley. I have a 7.65" crank and 4.25 blower pulley and im seeing 8psi at 6600rpm. U made the right choice going with the D-1SC. Good luck.

I have no problems here... The car drives like a TR224 with no problems. The car made 550rwhp 500rwtq at 8psi only . The cam works like a charm.
