I buy it a local shop that sells nirtous and race fuel. Just look for any places that sell race gas.

Here is a great list compiled by AlkyControl on TurboBuick.com

It does, but it's not really a significant amount.

i pay 5 a gallon for straight methanol at a local go kart shop

i used to race gas r/c its basically the exact same thing only more expensive. i dont see why it wouldnt work great but i'm not gonna try it first. and its at least 3 times as expensive per gallon depending on how much % nitro you want. the lubricant would be fine. smc guys have to add lubricant to their stuff anyway.

snow performance sells a nitromethane spray kit as well. i would like to see how that goes

Yeah R/C gas is around $20 a gallon. I'm curious to see if it makes any difference.

For those that use nylon lines, have you had any problems with the fittings leaking??? My pump is leaking as well, but it seems that my lines are also now leaking connecting to the reverse flow check valve. I was thinking it coud simply be condensation from the ice I put in the water, but it seems that if I move the fittings a bit it starts to drip. Is there any benefit to going to the braided steel lines?? How could I switch fittings??

Great link, thanks! I just found out that I can get a 55 gallon drum of meth for $96 delivered to my door. Now, if only I could actually speed up the process of getting my turbo setup...

From what I remember about researching fuels for a remote controlled plane kit, You can get anywhere from 5-15% nitro in it. Yee ha!

You can get 30% nitro fuel for the r/c helicoptors!! The r/c trucks run 20%. It would have to make quite a difference because that **** is expensive!!!
