Default What size injectors with blower?

I am installing a powerdyne 4.5 psi blower and I am foregoing the FMU for injectors and tuning. Anyone done this, and can some one recommend an injector size, or at least an interval of sizes? The motor is stock save a few bolt ons.

Depending on the year of your car, your stock injectors will handle 4.5 lbs of boost.

2002 model. Even with 4.5lbs of boost, I think fuel demands will not be met with just tuning in the absence of the FMU.

42lb injectors will do just fine. They will handle up to 500-550rwhp without a FMU.

I am pretty sure with tuning the stock injectors will handle 4.5 lbs of boost. 4.5 lbs of boost is almost not even worth the effort of installing a blower. Go on and make 5-7, the stock bottom end on a 2002 TA will more than hold that amount. Then you would have a reason to get new injectors.

nope. with the fmu it will techinally work but they will go static. years ago I had 30's and the fmu on the 4.5# pulley and the injectors go well over 100% duty cycle.

get 42's so you have room as you will more than likely end up putting the 6# pulley on it.

no reason not too they are cheap now. lots of folks selling them.

<selfish plug> I have my Lucas 42's for sale $250 </end selfish plug>
