Questions about Supercharging
Questions about Supercharging Looking hard into supercharging an 01 M6 WS6. I have been reading up on it for ahwile and have answered some questions that I had, but some still remain unanswered or I couldn't find a solid answer.
My questions are...
1.) How much boost can you run on a 30K LS1 w/o having to go internal? I have heard 5, 7, and 9, but not sure which one.
2.) How much boost can the stock injectors handle? Again, I've heard they can handle a 5 PSI boost, but can they handle anything more?
3.) And fuel pump, same question about the injectors...how much boost can the stock fuel pump keep up with?
And finally, the car has 30K, has LT's and catback, STOCK 10 bolt with GMM 4.10's.

I dont know much about FI... but since no one else is saying anything I'll give it a shot. I think 5-6psi is pretty safe on a stock motor. I also think new injectors and pump are a must if you are planning on making decent power. If you go this route, take it easy on the rear, no dumping the clutch with DR's
