Default Need you SC savvy guys to help me out
My dad has a 02 z06 that has a 427. He is about to order a blower this week. We have been looking at the D1SC kit. I don't know much about the different kits as I tend to use nitrous on my camaro. Does anyone have pics of a D1 in a vette engine bay? Or better yet have one on a 427? Anything else we sould order? Anything we should look out for? Any tips?

The car is only going to see about 8 psi.......maybe 10 tops.

Being that its a 427 I would consider an F1 head unit. That many cubes can swallow a lot of air.

D-1SC could do the job just fine, and F1 would be the way to go though.....

If the motor is setup for an "all motor" setup, there might be things to consider when putting the blower on......

Compression, cam, intercooler, boost levels, etc......

With a 427 go F1 as was said above. They fit the same bracket as the D-1SC so u wont have a problem there. For a Vette i would go with A&A kit.

The A&A kits seem to be the way to go w/the vettes......these guys make SICK power with just a 6rib, but get an 8 rib regardless
