Low CR + Boost+ pump gas With the lower CR on Fi eng's 9:0.1 and lower, as you drop to 8:5.1, with this kinda drop how much boost could you go up or pulley down...Can you add boost and timming when you drop CR.... Is there some kinda rule of thumb..
As you start adding boost and timing with pump gas where is a safe AFR...and is there a Guid line for power,timing, boost on what kinda AFR you should run...

I'm trying to build my 93 TA at 9.2:1 with 11psi and a 50 Shot on pump gass... As I understand it, there is no real calculation on how much boost and timing to add when dropping CR, its the combination of all the parts that determines how much can be added... boost vs timing is not a linear relationship. If you pull "X" amount of timing per psi boost, your timing curve will be less than ideal. You want the least amount of timing at peak torque, which can be accomplished through tuning the ecu. However...when you drop CR you will be able to raise boost and timing, How much depends on the combination of everything you have put into the motor... Cam, Heads, Back Pressure, ect...
