I would want to know if a 3800 series pontiac supercharger would work on a my 98 pontiac firebird v6

 

Not easily, cowl interferes and most people won't cut it to make it work. Some also argue that the engine should be up to L67 specs (l67 is the stock blower engine).

 

you would prob have to change the computer also wouldnt u

 

Tuning is always recommended with a blower, not sure if it's as simple as swapping computers in this case because the L67 has lower compression and such I believe. It's a much bigger project than just bolting a couple things on. I don't think anyone has done it sucessfully yet, but I've been shifting my focus to V8's these days.

 

ya i would like to have a v8 ls1 but right now. its just not happening and i was just tryin to do something with what i have.

 

There is more than that to contend with. The supercharged motor has heads with injector bosses instead of the intake.

 

Contact Tiago, he's on all of these boards. He's supposedly making a turbo kit for them. Haven't heard too many results from them though.
