Question A2A vs A2W vs Ice

How much of a difference will I see with Twin A2W vs Griffin FMIC A2A intercooling systems? I have not seen a lot of really good information on this, other than I know A2W > A2A and Ice can be used in A2W systems to further benifit the cooling effect.

i know my iat's rise only about 10* over a run with just air temperature water in the intercooler and with ice of course it drops to about 45*

i definitely do endure a weight penalty for all the a/w stuff probably an extra 25# of water carried around all the time + the radiator

It sounds like A2W will be coming to my car next year sometime then, it is a big difference.

Thanks for the info Dave.

the tank is where the battery used to be, the rad is right in front of the big rad on the left. pics of both on the site.

the system actually has very minimal cold side tubing
