CAS kit up for sale
cracking headers Im in the process right now of reproducing the CAS kit for my car. Im building my manifolds out of mild steel and having them coated. That way they wont crack because of thermal expansion and will last a long time. The downpipes will be 321 stainless using a set of tial 38MM bypass valves.
After the kit is built and proven for my car i will put it into production. Ive already made a bunch of header, turbo inlet and bypass flanges for the kits. I might just sell it as a hot side kit.....dont know yet.
I know that one of you guys that just bought a kit from jammer or 69firebird has a extra header. Maybe we could work something out and let me borrow it for measuring purposes only. I also need the dimensions of the intercooler that CAS used. I read in this thread that one of you guys was planning on running around a 1000 Hp. Maybe you would sell you intercooler to me because you will need a bigger one for those numbers.
Just to put you to ease ive been a member since 2002 when i was building my procharged setup on my camaro. I sold the procharger kit to by a CNC mill so i could start my business. I make billet interior parts for our cars, along with other performance products. I have in house anodizing also. I sell all my parts on ebay. Back when i was in the procharger "stage" I made a ton of steel idlers up to fix the problem of the belts cutting a groove in the stock ones. They were sold to guys on this forum. I take pride in not screwing people over. Im just a turbo junkie like yourself looking for more power.
I said all that so you know who i am. The guy that owned the kit before you wouldnt let me borrow his extra header.
