need advice
For a minimum 8psi boost, what is the maximum bore size? Is 4.030" too big?
I'm concerned with getting the bores to STAY round. The car may eventually see as much as 16psi.
With Patriot Stage III (they will do a 4" bore chamber on the Stage III's, or so they tell me)heads and an LS6 or LS2 intake, along with 1.875" headers (may go larger later), 6 speed, and 4.11:1 gear, how much cam should I run? I'm thinking 224/228/114-116 and around .575" lift.
The target is 700HP+ at the flywheel. I want to do this right, the first time, and not go back into it. I want to hit the target power level, with streetable durability.
