Default Questions about superchargers

I've done a bunch of searches on this and still want/need to ask some questions.

I have a LS6/ZO6 crate engine, about to install a TSP 233/239 cam and have the heads ported and polished, Thinking about installing a procharger later on down the road. As for the blower whine I don't have a problem with it at all. New clutch and rear end is already being planned.

Can I use the stock internals/bottom end? I have also thought about stroking this engine to 383 or more as well.
Will I be able to run 7 to 10 psi?
What other considerations should I include for this? I run 91 or higher fuel always.
What is the average cost for a nice package like this?

The goal is to hit 550-600 streetable rwhp, my current mods and numbers are in my sig. Your thoughts and help are appreciated.

From what I've read/seen, 7psi on a stock bottom end should be okay. Forged internals are always a nice safeguard, though. If you're going to go with a procharger or other form of FI, you may want to swap out those LS6 heads, before you get 'em ported and go with some 6L truck heads to lower compression. That's a pretty big cam, and I'm not sure how well it's going to work with a procharger. Hopefully someone else here can offer better info on your cam with a PC. Procharger kits for 4th gens are around $6k depending on options.

You want to lower your comresson. Your best bet if you didnt want to spend to much $$$$$$
Is
Replace the stock pistons with a set of Diamond -8.6cc dish pistons
Set of 6.0L heads with 70-72cc chambers with a .054 MLS gasket will get you right about 9:1 compression.
Its up to you if you want to kep stock rods... you can but at least upgrade the rodbots to a set of ARP's.
Do a set of ARP main studs and head studs while you have it apart. With your cam choice the durattion sounds fine but what is the LSA??
If its on a 112 or lower.... no good..... the lower lsa bleds off to much boost and all that boost you just worked so hard to make is now gone...... Go with a 114lsa or higher. As you said it looks as if you have the drivtrain, but what about the fuel system???? Do alot of research there and do it right ONCE..... In my best Chris Farley voice... (I know from experience Dude)

Thanks for the input! This is very valuable advice to me; I'm now thinking about building this to be a 383 stroker with 9:1 compression ratio and using all forged components for strength, and rethinking the cam choice, while porting and polishing the heads and installing stronger valves, lifters, etc....

I was thinking a complete rotating assembly from Lunati. You're right, do it right the first time and build for strength. I need to research the fuel system some more as stated and make sure that this is as effective and efficient as possible.

This is a long term project and I want to make sure that it's done right from the bottom up. Your experience and that of others on this board is fantastic. Thanks for everything!! I'm thinking total cost to make a very strong, streetable, daily driven motor that can make the power is going to run about 10'gs minimum to do it right. Time to start saving for the budget!!!
