Default My STS dyno at 5psi

Don't got the graph scanned yet. The a/f is a consistant 11.0-11.2 (no i'm not gonna lean it out more). This was the baseline run so that I have something to compare it to in the future.

The car made 432 rwhp (peak was 6300) and 42x tq (don't got the sheet in front of me right now). This is lower than I expected, but the car still has a few issues, one of them being a slipping clutch. I had to start my pulls from 3500 to keep the clutch from slipping too much and it was really mushy after the first pull, had to pump twice it just to get it out of 4th

I also completely forgot to remove that k&n condom thingy. Dyno operator said that i lost around 20 rwhp from what he has seen on the turbo sand rails he dyno's.

The car has the following mods
224/224/112/.567/.567 cam
SLP Long Tubes
42lb injectors
ls6 intake
!cats
4.10 gears (will be going to 3.42's in the near future).

I bought this car with all the mods already on it including the turbo setup. It has the t67 turbo.

I should be going back to the dyno in march after I install my spec 4f clutch, obx intercooler and an alky kit. I'm guessing that after all that I should be putting down about 460 on 5 psi.

I also have a DBB ITS76R laying around I might throw on to see how it performs

I have flipped the high boost switch to 8 psi one time while logging just to see what it would do, the car leaned out real fast and picked up a little knock so I backed off right away. My a/f's went 13.0+ very fast It was a HUGE difference from the 5 psi setting. My clutch absolutely hated me after that.

I just did some data logging with the K&N condom removed, very interesting results.

With it on my ltft's are around -9, with it off they are around -3. The really interesting data is from the wideband though. My a/f's went from 11.1 to 11.5-11.6! Half a freaking a/f point difference

I must say that I'm shocked that it was that much different. I guess the dyno operator was't kidding when he said at least 20 rwhp loss.

Where did your torque peak at? Nice numbers by the way now all need is a clutch and a fmic and your set!

tq peak is at like 3600-3700 from looking at the graph. I started my pulls at 3300 due to the slipping clutch. It just doesn't like the abuse of doing a full pull. I'm guessing my real peak tq if i started at 2k would be around 3400 or so. Looks like a N2O dyno.

360 I think is what the previous owner did before he put the STS kit on if I remember correctly.

I THINK YOUR CAM MAY BE HOLDING YOU BACK A BIT WITH THE 112 LSA

OTHER THAN THAT YOU HAVE A NICE RIDE

I was waiting for someone to say that
If you do the math the overlap comes out to a zero. A 114 lsa cam would give me a -4 degree overlap though. I would venture to guess that that gains wouldn't even be mesasurable.

Typically a overlap of up to +2 is ok to run. LSA is not the end of of forced induction cams.

There will be a lot more power coming soon from this car. I'm going to put the DBB76R on it

Just out of curiosity, why get rid of the 4.10's? I've not had them yet, so I don't know from experiance, but I know a lot of guys love them.

3.42s will help the turbo boost up quicker...the more force you have to push against will make the turbo work better
