Default FEEDBACK - Magnacharger install in St. Louis?

I've decided to buy a Magnacharger and have it installed. I have called one of the local reps from the Magnacharger website for pricing and am looking for some feedback. The price on the supercharger is OK but the labor charges seem a little high.

Has anyone else had a Magnacharger installed in the St. Louis area and if so, who did you have do it? How many hours' labor charges were there?

I've posted this in a couple of other areas and on a couple of other websites without a lot of feedback. Surely someone here can help with some feedback?

Hi

We offer The complete Magnuson package installed for $7,495.00

You can see full details of the package here:

http://www.lingenfelter.com/supercha...i_escalade.asp

We're only about 5 hrs from St.Louis, so it isn't that bad. I'm sure someone else can do it a little cheaper, but we do a very thorough, professional job that I know you won't be dissappointed with.

Let me know if I can answer any questions,

Ed

Not sure what you were quoted, but i had a couple shops quote me $700 for the labor on a C5 M6 at "buddy" prices.

LPE will definatley get er done and you won't have any issues. Sometimes that is worth the $$$.

good luck

Thanks for the props! To give you an idea, most shops should charge you approx. 8-10 hrs. labor. I know our installed package adds up to more than that, but we're not really selling an "install" we're selling a complete package. We've done a ton of these and have it down to a science.

I understand trying to get the best price possible, and if you have a buddy that works at a GM dealership, that would be the best way to go.

Let me know if I can help,
Ed

Thanks for the feedback, guys. The shop I talked to is a Hummer dealer and should provide pretty good service. They have been around for quite a few years already as they started when the H1 was the only Hummer available.

They are only about 10 minutes from my house so I will probably go with them. Again, I am mainly interested in other shops in the immediate St. Louis area and how much they might charge.
