Default Dumb question

Dumb question I am sure of, but I have been meaning to ask it for a while.

Would an ASP crank Pulley be compatible with a SC, either ATI or some type of roots blower (I know none are out yet officially)

Not sure if SC kits come with their own crank pulley or not, or if it needs a special one....

Thanks

I removed my ASP underdrive crank pulley when I went to my custom Vortech YSi setup. I am using the Vortech crank pulley setup, which is a ATI superdamper (sp.).

Not a dumb question at all. Generally, you don't want to use an aftermarket crank pulley as it is underdriven (smaller diameter) and will produce less boost when matched to the sc pulley. Also larger is better for belt wrap which will help slip issues.

Cool.....just saved $200

I'm starting to save for a SC....hopefully a twin screw will be made for the F-body...if not then a roots style depending on how they perform, and worse case a D1

Hopefully over the next year or 2 I can save up enough money and do it right and safe.

Thanks guys!
