Default TTi kit and a FMIC

So, has anybody ran a FMIC for the TTi kit yet? I think that is alot of peoples issue with the TTi air charge system. Any comments?

I was thinking when my kit gets here, I might try it.

Yes, Oh and to clarify I am talking the Street kit.

It is in front of the radiator, but not really in a high air flow area. I was thinking about putting it up front and modifying the nose of the car.

I have all the parts and am doing mine in the spring. I am using the existing 2.5 charge pipes that wrap around the front, just cutting them where they start to bend tword the radiator an splicing them into a OBX hanging where the old bumper support goes. I am using a reducer to go into the I/C on both sides. I think the 2.5 pipes should support anything the hot parts can effectivly make (600ish rw). Should be a super easy install. I think the I/C that comes with the kit starts to choke at 500rw IMO, my IATs blow right now at that power level not to mention just compare it in size to what others are using at that power level. In TTIs defense everybody bitches up a storm if anything needs to be permanently modified from the stock configuration so i guess its the best they could do for $4000? I think TTI is a great customer oriented company!

I TOTALY agree on those points. George is the man. He tuned my 9 second Nitrous car with DFI, He is always available when I call. Just a genuinely great guy.

He tuned my room-mates TA with a TTi T-66 kit over 450rwhp 516rwtq.

that would look awsome to have a huge intercooler coming out of that grill.
