SMC Alcohol Injection

Just looking for feed back, pro/con.....any info would be great

I have the smc kit with a single m15 jet and 42s at 10.5 lbs, I run straight meth with the lube they sell, and i have done 612 rwhp on a mustang dyno with a m6. It is very reliable so far and the engine runs clean inside, no deposits at all. With my marginal fuel system it allowed me to push further without upgrading it. And zero knock retard ever.

I run it with straight meth, works great... and Steve at SMC provides excellent customer service.

He's right Steve will spend the time with you to get you set up right, he's very helpful.

How much more timing/boost could you run after the alky injection? I could handle some more power.

I never fooled with my timing, too much of a chicken.... i just ran 13 through peak tq and 16 up top.. but i did see about 12-13#'s of boost through tq peak with 93 octane and pump gas.... no KR.

I dont know how much more timing or boost with it as i have not ran without it, but i am at 23 degrees after 5400 rpm. Before that point im not sure, i didnt tune it and cant remember. Steve can give you a very close estimate, as well as examples. Im sure the sponsors that carry it could as well, and are probably cheaper too.
