Default Oil Pressure help!

I got my manual oil press guage hooked up last night, fired the car up, 15-20psi at idle.

The car normally gets around 60psi at idle, I attrbiute this to oil flowing through the turbos.

Above the oil filter there is a thing that comes off that is real easy to tap and get pressure, so thats where my -4AN feed line comes from, after that the line goes forward through the motor plate into a 4AN T, from there the 4AN T has 2 lines, 1 to each turbo, and for return the turbos each have their own -10AN line that runs to the top side of the oil pan.

I did not want to have to get a dry sump system for this, do I need a pressure/flow regulator on the turbo oil feed lines?

i have the same exact oil line setup for my truck too, -4 to a y for both turbos, but im running -12 return lines to the top of the pan. im seeing about 50psi at idle still, even after the turbos.

Yes stock pump, no porting either. I figured the pressure was going to be lower than it is, but i guess not.

There's enough restriction in the bearing cartridge of the turbos to keep the flow minimal. It's too much pressure they don't like, and leak past the seals.

If you're that low at idle, it's probably bearing clearances in the motor rather than the turbos.

Normally I would think that too (Or a oil pickup tube problem) But the motor has not been apart, when I last turned it off, it was just fine, now the only thing I changed in the oil system was drilling and tapping that press hole and welding on return fittings.

I think I need to just block off the pressure to the turbos and unbolt them, then fire it up.
