That doesnt really answer my question... I guess what you are saying is that I might as well be using a mechanical gauge? I know some people who stick to mechanical and other who prefer the simplicity of electric gauges...
I personally think that mechanical guages are better, one less thing to go wrong. I will be running mechanical oil press and boost, fuel press will have a electronic sending unit because of track regulations.
If one were to run a mechanical vac/boost gauge, would the line running from the brake booster line to the gauge need to be short to give accurate measurements, as in running it straight through the firewall under the booster as opposed to running it all the way through the passenger side grommet in the firewall?
