It's going into a customer car.I'm figuring around 3 weeks or so.The last 346 with a D1 at 10lbs did 637hp with an extremely mild setup(100% emmission legal)so I expect the 402 to make ungodly power

BTW-you use regular LS1 Cams,so no problem there.

at 10# with a d1? thats some amazing power. I hope i can make 500 at best with mine but no forged engine yet so Id be happy just getting it installed and tuned right so it doesnt break anything. good luck with those cars your building........ jesse

I talked to Kris at SDPC about going FI in the future, before I ordered my shortblock from him. Ended up upgrading to a Callies crank and Manley pro billet rods with custom Diamond pistons and he said FI should be absolutely no problem at all for me, even with up to 15 lbs of boost.

I found Kris to be very helpful, and would not hesitate to deal with them (SDPC) again. Chris and the guys from APE were also very helpful as well, and I almost ordered an engine from them. Nothing but good things to say so far about either company.

As to aftermarket cams and such, most everything that fits an LS1 will also fit an LS2 from what I've been told.

uh-huh and Goodyear sells a lot of Eagle F1s. Does that mean they are good? No, it's because a lot of dumbasses just put what came on the car back on the car. Same with SLP. "GM used them, so they must know what they are doing, right?"
Too bad you can do a search of sigs. Then you could see how few listed SLP in theirs, and how many had Futral, APE, W2W, Rapid etc...spend the extra $$ to gte it from a company who knows FI. Keep in mind, SLP stands for Street Legal Performance. Their schtick is making emmissions friendly OE type ****, not making HP. WTF do they know about FI?

You think the P1 would be enough for 600 rwhp? And stay smog legal?
