Default tri-Y Turbo Headers

Are there any dissadvantades to having tri-y turbo headers vs. standard tubular turbo headers?

No real disadvantage but also no advantage either. Tri-y headers are designed to help with cylinder scavenging. If you're just crushing all that exhaust into a turbo it's useless and will not have the same effect. I'm guessing you're trying to convert a set?

No i i'm trying to work on a "project" and at first i thought that i might be able to save some space with tri-y headers but that went ou the door real quick.
