SDCE 8 rib spring tensioner ???????
SDCE 8 rib spring tensioner ??????? Well I have a F1R kit on the way but it comes with a 6 rib setup. I was doing some research and see people talking about the SDCE 8 rib spring tensioner just curious if this kit works on Vettes? How much it costs? and what is involved in install and getting the kit? Im building a 370 iron block and trying to get 16lbs if not more. BTY don't know if it matters but my kit has A&A new bracket. Thanks for any help
I am pleased with my SDCE kit, although the service is another story.
It was a three month turn around on my parts and all of my phone calls/emails were unreturned or ignored. I finally got news that my parts were shipped out, over a week later I still had no parts. I called/emailed several times and finally hear that they are waiting on a part. By now the speed shop doing the conversion for me is telling my they are going to have my car towed to my house at my expense of course, I was not going to let a wrecker driver tear up my car. I finally get my parts, Wendy said I would be pushing 10# Max, I was pushing 14#. Now the car is running lean and fuel pressure was dropping. After upgrading the injectors and pumps the motor lets go on the dyno while being tuned.
This simple ordeal turned into a five month and approx.$4500.00 pain in my ***.
To make a long story short, SDCE is by far the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of doing buisness with!
