<-------Darren Strickland

I pre-registered 2 cars, neither one could make it (1 was waiting for parts, 1 has no cage). I showed up regardless. I think the weather scared alot of people away, but it turned out to be a beautiful day like dobe said, minus the strong headwind. Leave it to the weather people to screw things up and 'over forecast'.

Either way, I got some pretty good pictures. I got several of MightyMouse, saw his car out in the lot before he ran. Also got a bunch of other misc pics, I will upload them now and post a link later on.

I really wish I could have seen the Hardcore car make a full pass. Thats an awesome looking car for sure.

maybe today hardcore will get a decent pass on one of their cars... we decided not to go watch but it is still nice outside unlike what the weather said it was gonna be

I know that is what kept us at home. The car was ready and we planned to leave Friday morning, but it was calling for rain and snow on weather.com so we decided not to venture 11hrs to be dissapointed.

i ran the tires that are on my car in the pics they are 315/30/18 bfg drag radials.

first pass i had a misfire and let off (crappy moroso wires, tried em one last time.. f' em!), swapped with friends stock wires.

second pass i blew the intake tube off the tb

third pass spun 1st and 2nd and peddled third, held 4th -> 11.3

4th pass nice smokey burnout and blew the lower intake tube off...evidently i never tightened the fuggers since I put the motor back in...doh!

i didnt even plan to run but hardcore got me entered for free.. it was the first day i'd been wide open on the bs3 too.

no numbers yet.

the turbo is a 76mm from turbo people, thats all i know.. other than it spools faster than the old 80 and i had to have george re-do the downpipe for a 3" flange instead of the 3.5"

huh?
you downgraded your turbo? unless the 76 makes more then the 80 (which it could).
but did i read that right that you went to a 3" downpipe instead of your old 3.5"?

i went down to make more power yes. 80 has a big heavy wheel so i'm told.

just the flange at the turbo is 3" the rest is still 3.5 and into the 4" muffler and int. pipe.
