Default Stall and turbo...

How is it on the street? I have a 4k stall in my car now, and Im currently putting pistons etc. in my car to get the motor ready for a turbo kit in the fall. Was just wondering If I should go to a smaller converter for this. I see that most of these turbos on our cars are spooling before 3800rpms so what is that like with a stall? It is already completely spooled before I even get my foot to the floor???

No, its not, you can rev your motor to 4000 RPMs without being WOT, and your motor will not push as much exhaust gas as WOT 4000 RPMs so the turbo will not be spinning as fast, thats what a trans brake or 2 step is for.

Also, it seems like 38 is a bit high for the street, I could be wrong though. I just ordered my Th400 and I'm not sure what stall I'm going with yet for the street.
