nice motor and build, one question, why are their dual BOV's?? i've never seen a single turbo with two BOV's before? is it just for bling factor or its needed for large boost?

Looks good other than that.
Because it looks bling. They used mandrels on the discharge piping, I'm sure they could have a mandrel made for that section if they wanted to.

Here's a pic of a buddy of mine's big single MR2.


He has two bov's also. He did it for this reason. He was going to run a huge BOV (Turbonetics Godzilla) and big BOV's will only open under high amounts of boost because of the stiff spring inside them and if you're driving this car on the street you're not going to be seeing high amounts all the time. With two he's able to handle big amounts of boost because SSQ's I've heard can't handle over 20psi that well and having two also lets you cruise on the street under low boost with no problems.

He's shooting for 10's and should have no problems. Here is how it looks now.

My goodness, that is one positively gorgeous car. Don't see enough dumped on clean wheels with no ugly wing or big scoops along the trailing edge of the roof.
