Of course it will pass, it's downstream of the cats. The only thing you have to worry about is the visual inspection. You should be able to get away with smog if your state goes by Federal standards. So basically anything downstream of the cats they could care less about. If not, you could take off the turbo put your lid back on in a few hours.
I believe most people run cats. One person on here said they only gained 8hp from gutting their cats. Definitely not worth it.

this LT1 doesnt have cats..lol. i have longtubes with lanes true duals......i was just looking up some info for a friend.
also, if your cats went bad couldnt that possibly **** up the turbo?
