Go turbo!!!!! Either way you will have fun. Do a search for PurEvl He went from SC to turbo and said turbo is way better.

Go turbo, stay off the leash. No belt issues like slipping, shreding and streching. Your main problem you'll fight with the turbo is heat.
I'm swapping to turbo in the fall and looking forward to it.

I think you need to consider your intended usage and experience with FI. If this is a track car that sees some street time then a Turbo might be an advantage to you. You'll get more power per psi, you're torque will come on faster, and you can easily turn up the boost for your desired power level. The downside is there are so many smaller turbo companies out it's hard to know which one to go with. Lack of quality control can be an issue along with already having more difficult tuning to contend with. If you aren't experienced with FI or don't have access to a tuner that is, then you might want to consider a Procharger.

If this is a street car then I like the S/C better. It grabs more attention cruising around, it's easier to tune, and there's two major companies to go with. You sound like you're already in favor of the procharger, so that makes the process that much easier. It doesn't kick any less butt at the track, but it's power is more predictable on the street giving it an advantage over the non linear turbos.

But either would have advantages and disadvantages, just depends on your goals.
