Hot parts routing

Hot parts routing Ok I have been looking for something for a while now and havnt found an exact answer. I was woundering does it hurt anything to have the pass side header face the rear of the car and the drivers side facing the front. I thought that you wanted the hot parts on each side to be equal length. I see alot of kits made like this, but wasnt sure if it was just cause of lack of space. Would I gain anything from having both face the front and have equal length pipes? Thanks

Well im running an old school motor in an lt-1 car. Dist. in back, march brakets etc... So nothing is in a stock location. Just didnt know if it mattered to have the pipes the same length or not.
