Default can someone please help my NA/FI problems?

hey guys i am looking to possibly go Turbo, and i have a few questions about it before i do, or dont. hopefully some of you guys out there can help me out.

I was looking at the phamspeed kits, and the budget kit looks very doable, however the use of factory manifolds really gets under my skin. How is everyones opinions on using the factory manifolds for a Turbo setup. i am sure that it would run out of steam first(as far as max output or bigger turbo) and it would most likely take an equally sized turbo longer to spool. These things are a few things that i am able to live with, however what would one assume that this kit would max out at? 650rwhp? more?

Also i see that some FI cars with no supporting mods sit pretty at around 420-450 hp. but this can be had with a big cam and heads. so how would a decent head and cam do with a 6-8 psi turbod car?

I am just trying to find the best overall package for my car to get me what i want and keep me happy. the considerations are...

Phamspeed kit(budget or single kit not sure)
forged 346
fuel system
6.0 heads, good cam
hopefully a real decent 600+rwhp on 93 octane. fun car and this would be the one that gets gawked at when i pull over after spankings someone on street strip, etc.

or a forged 408
AFR 225cc
big cam
150 or 200 shot through my TNT kit
also an easy 475 rwhp one would assume NA and then probobly understandable gains on the bottle.

Both setups would make me smile, man the turbo is very enticing and scary at the same time.

Go turbo. No bottle to fill, no bottle to keep warm, smooth as glass idle, better mileage, more overall power.

if your wanting 600 to teh wheels id do his standard kit, not the budjet
his budjet with the right turbo might get you there, but i dont think its designed for that much power

Also what i was thinking, i dont think that i could ever get myself to agree with the budget kit anyways but the price was so appealing.

So i guess this brings me to another topic...

if i were to go turbo, it would almost be my first modification so how would it hold up on the LS1 if i stayed moderate until i felt like spending the extra 1500 or so on forged internals? Would i last a while? what would the bare nessecities be to a great fuel system. i would think that a huge pump(for future) and 55 lb/hour injectors would be ok for now? and allow room for expansion.
and of course a dyno tune, colder plugs, etc.

Thanks
Louie
