are you saying STS might not be the setup I want to go with? I'm not opposed to a supercharger either, but I would probably only want to go with Procharger
Judging by what I have read so far, You need a complete kit. Phamspeed just released a budget kit for nearly half the price of the STS kit that would be perfect for getting nice power out of a stock motor. No matter which was you decide to go in the end, make sure you know everything there is to know about every kit that is available to you. Like Smokinhawk said, don't regret what you buy after the fact. Know your products and be satisfied with the end result. I speak from experience could have saved myself a lot of money.

you guys are both right, and i agree
i'm not going to be buying anything, anytime soon. I might sell my camaro (big might) and use that money towards a power adder. i'm doing my research now. Are there any big threads or websites i might want to look at for some research?
