How important is Quench and intake runner volume

How important is intake runner volume and quench when running ... stage x twin turbos on a 427ci motor.

My intake runner volume is currently 250cc. In order to get the compression where I need it..I will have to use .075 thick gasket. This will put me at 8.5:1 .

Please give me input pros/ cons....etc

I think that it is better to keep the quench good and let the CR be whatever it is going to be. in your case that is.

how far are your pistons out of the hole?
