Boost change with stroker?

Default Boost change with stroker?

Last week took my car out of storage and the crank pulley had come loose and was walking on my crank shaft . So now the motor has to come out and i will be putting in forged crank stroker kit probely a 3.900" stroke kit.Before this situation happened i was running 8.5 lbs of boost. With me stroking the motor will this change my boost levels any? Also how much more boost could i add to the stock block and still be safe with a new dyno tune.
Please any input would be greatly appreciated.

BTW , the new crank will be double keyed and the pistons will most likely be dished

It shouldn't change the boost as you aren't changing really any of the restricting points in the motor, ie, exhaust or intake.

Since your not changeing the heads and exhaust or anything but the bottom end I would say you aren't gonna loose much if any. I'd say a half pound depending on how low compression you go. also the stock block can hadle quite a bit of power with the right internals so boost away! 16+ pounds

You'll probably loose a couple lbs. The only reference I have is that with a g-trim Vortech and the 2.75 pulley on a 418 I could only muster 5 lbs. (I think some have made 9+ lbs. with that combo on a 346). I had this combo on for a short while until I switched to the T-trim and made 12 lbs.

You will lose some boost.Going from a 5.3 to a 402 my truck lost about 4 1/2 lb. of boost.You won't lose that much,but you will lose 2 to 3lb of boost.
