Blow off valve busted????

Hello

I just installed a used ATI kit that came with a HKS blow off valve. I noticed once I start the car and let it idle there is a lot of air being vented from the BOV. When I rev the engine, more air is being vented from the BOV. I have tried to adjust the BOV and it still vents as much air.

Is this normal?

I have only driven it up and down the street, and the car feels very sluggish. Could it be cause there is no air getting into the engine?

I have had the PCM flashed for my setup.

Any advice is appreciated.

no it isn't normal the bov should only allow air out when pressure is built up and you let off. try blocking it off and taking it for a ride without it to see if it helps.

Is it a blow off valve (BOV) or a bypass valve. If it is in fact a BOV, no air should come out at all until you let off the gas. Did you tap into a good vaccum source?
