Ati tensioner

Anyone know how much stress an ati tensioner puts on an engine. I know there is some great alternatives but i just want to know if i should worry about puttin a lot of stress on my engine with the ati tensioner.

I think there would be much more stress without a tensioner, than with, considering your tune would be all over the place inaccurate with potential slippage. If your talking parasitcal loss, it already is pulling the charger without it. The tension was already there, and it would be less, considering you dont have to tighten it to death to eliminate slippage. If you are worried about parasitical loss, go turbo..
