Bottoms Up

I REALLY wanna supercharge the car.. But I don't wanna build the bottom end. How much has it cost you to build the bottom end. I don't want to buy a short block. I just wanna work with what I already have. COuld I get by on keeping a stock bottom end? PLease help.

The other thing to consider is the S/C cars respond to the same hot rodding changes that a N/A engine would. A larger throttle body, headers, a cam and ported heads with increase flow a lower boost (this is good). It keeps the chance of detonation down while using pump gas.
