Problem after STS install
Thanks
Clutch fan-- They used the wrong wire for the signal from the computer to control the STS oil pump. They hooked it up to the AC clutch control.
2- ABS- more than likely the wires are disconnected near the rearend.
Make sure you didnt knock anything loose running the charge pipe over the rear end.
Now I have a new problem with the turbo oil pump not working. A block from my house today the oil pump warning buzzer when off. So i stopped the car and notice that oil was coming out of my tail-pipe. I also noticed that one of the wires going to the resistor in the sts wireing harness came out of the resistor. Hopeful that is the only reason the pump quick working. I have been trying to call sts and can't get anyone on the phone. The thing that has me worried is the oil coming out of the tail-pipe. Could this be just because the pump isn't running so the oil is being forced out?
Yep
With out the pump, the turbo bearings can't drain and it pushes the oil out the exhaust side seal. No biggy, Get a new resister at radio shack and wire it in and you will be good to go.
