Questions about putting a custom kit together
Questions about putting a custom kit together I have a stock LS-1 motor and T-56 we are putting in a 2nd generation RX-7 now. Since I need to build custom headers anyway and I have an HKS 60-1 .70ar turbo laying around unused, I'm toying with the idea of putting this on the car.
Here are my questions, hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction for answers.
1) Stock motor - How badly will the stock motor hate me at 6-7psi?
2) Fuel - I understand injector sizing and utilizing a higher flow fuel pump. What is normally used to tune the car? Is there a tuneable ECU that is resonably priced or do people utilize piggyback computers like the SAFC?
3) Single vs Twin - I'm floundering like a fish out of water on this, anyone have any thoughts?

if you want to go cheap, put factory manifolds on, fab a cross pipe that connects them and runs to a single turbo.
The stock motor will love 6-7psi
