I'm sure Jose will probably chime in, but right off the top of my head PTE 76~88, from previous posts, and dependent upon specifics.

I think GT42 would be to small. It will support the power. But why not get a turbo that can support more power so you won't have to do it all over again later on. Get a GT55 and make it fit.

A GT55 for 650rwhp...hehe...nahh. A 76GTS will do the job easily and so will a GT42-74T. If you decide on the GT42, go with the larger one....its called the 102mm by Garrett. Also remember a base GT42 uses a T6 flange and not a T4. It will flow better with the T6 flange, but most turbo kits out there only use a T4 flange. We can supply you with either version. The GT42-74T will easily make 650rwhp also, and the GT42-76T will as well.

The 74 and 76 will hit peak torque around 4K.

I have the 102mm GT42 on my phamspeed kit, my questions are
about how much HP on a 9.1-1 LSX all forged....pushing 15-18psi?
about when will I see max boost?
and how will the 102 GT42 spool? Slowly, alright or pretty fast?

I'd like to hit 700rwhp with this GT42 so I hope its the right one. I came across a supra on the net making over a 1000rwhp with a custom GT42.

It will hit peak torque around 4K. Peak torque = peak boost. Also the Supra was probably using the GT42-76T with a T6 exhaust side. The supra runs a much higher PR then our big cube motors so they will make more hp with the same turbo, but they have more lag...hehe.

Cool, thanks for the info Jose...I just hope it'll push 700 on my lil 348ci set up without too much hassle.....i'd hate to have to upgrade already

My stall is 3800 and flashes to 4600 on the launch so they should get along nicely right? I'm hijacking dammit....Not having my car up and running is killing me

DAMN! thats good to know so it looks like I'm all good for my goal of 700-750...hope I can do it at 15-18psi. We have a ton of killer Turbo stangs around here, Mike Keenan, Anthony Dickson(sold his tho) and John Urist to name a few. They all put up killer numbers up here, I hope to do the same but only want to hit 10's not the 8s they run

I wonder what the real power difference is between the GT42 with the 74 wheel and the 76 wheel. If they both have the 102exducer and the t6 flange.

Nobody seems to know, but the 74 is like $600 cheaper.

We can get GT42's with T4 base flanges We can also get the GT42 w/ a 76mm wheel. This turbo is rated somewhere around 1200hp. But if you're going to be going with a 76mm wheel, might as well go with a T76GTS that has a much smaller frame.

The GT42 with a 94mm wheel is rated at 1000hp
The GT42 with a 102mm wheel is rated at 1100hp

We can get them in T4 flanges with 1.01, 1.15, 1.28, and 1.44 a/r
