Arrow ATI Superdamper for Procharger

Has anybody heard of a dowel pin kit that is needed for an install on an ATI superdamper. I am just wondering because I am installing a D1SC Procharger on my car. I am wondering how hard it is to install the dowel pin after the superdamper install. If anybody has any knowledge on this, any help would be greatly appreciated. The ATI hub is keyed. Keyed meaning that it has a square notch in it. If your crank is not keyed, you will need to get it done. Any good machine shop can do that for about $20.

You have two ways to pin it from the end or from the side, if you do not want to remove your balancer again you will need to find a pining kit which pins from the front end of the crank snout.

As for keying the crank, the crank will need to be out, and taken into the shop,

ls1290, are you saying that anyone with a stock '98 crank is going to have to have it removed, keyed, and replaced if they want to use the ATI Superdamper?

No other options?

Arrow ATI Procharger Install

Well the dowel pin kit I got from ATI says you can do it from the front or the side. I just wanted to make sure this can be done without the motor and crank being taken out. This is just a stock shortblock I am using for my procharger and everybody I talk to says you have to do it from the side. I don't have the kit in hand yet but I will on Friday. What do you guys think? I have never had to go through so much crap just to bolt on a Procharger.
