Default The difference between 7 and 10 # reeealy feels good!

I've got this 6l that I am building up but the boost greed got me hooked warping my senses. can't wait!

the car is tuned for 7# I've overboosted several times while setting up the eboost and I liked it. who wouldn't. So before the 6l is done I'm thinking of using the 2 bar code from efilive (once released) and start hacking.. since the e-boost is some kinda miracle worker I want to setup the wastegates so I can limit things to 1# and tune up from there. Can I adjust this low or do I have to replace the acutators? Lingengfelter the best or only source for these parts? Not a real big deal if I have to start from 5 psi but I thought it might make the launch easier if I setup the e-boost set points to increment as I go through the gears.

BTW: at 10lbs it feels like another 100hp. thats pushing a stock engine a little too much, eh? NO knock retard... have yet to hookup the WB...

Patience, fellow Incon owner.

There are not that many of us, and your questions were not in the title.

Incon did make 3Psi actuators, and that the lowest I have heard. It is not possible to go lower than the wastegates. If you really want, you can screw the threads into the limits and maybe get 4psi. Or modify them to adjust lower, if you really really want. But 5 psi is not a bad starting point so why mess with them. And I have no idea who would sell these besides Lingenfelter.

I do remember fully adjustable ones being available, but have no idea where you could get them.

I agree, 3 additional psi is almost 100hp.

Cheers

The general equations is about 20~40 HP per 1# of air. In the v-8s figure right in the middle of that for a "conservative" estimate. So you are correct 3# ~ 100 HP.
