What Ring Gap for FI motor?
.055xbore=gap
that is for forced induction, however most use a larger gap, closer to a .065 to calculate. And Kurt at W2W is saying to have the first ring gapped to what you want (ie use formula) and then add some to the second ring to make it a bit larger.
does this make any sense, I sure hope so
If its a 4.0" bore times .055 that = 0.22 which seems not right? Did I mess that up? How Much More should the 2nd ring be than the first?
