Default 112 cam?

I know a 112 cam isnt ideal for a turbo but how much does it hurt it.Is it a significant amount?Would it be a must with boost?

What are the full specs on the cam? LSA isnt what hurts a FI setup per se, rather the overlap when both valves are open and all your precious boost is going straight out the tail pipe.

235-240 603-600. I know it wont work great i was just wondering how bad it would be because I really dont want to do another cam swap unless is a must.The cam i have now works great with nitrous but I know that is much different than boost.

Overlap boosts high rpm efficiency and creates more power on the top end. A tighter LSA will help you make more power on pump gas because it does bleed off some cylinder pressure. FWIW I know a guy in Florida that runs a cam in his turbo car, 232/242, .580-ish lift on a 112 LSA and it makes a filthy amount of power. Stick with it, IMO.

geez that's a big cam, that thing will suck on the street, but for all out racing emphasis on HIGH rpm power that would be the cam to do it.
