Default Clamps

What is everyone using ? V-band or Wiggins ???
I am just asking because I am using A t-Bolt clamp on my throtle body and it keeps moving causing the throttle to stick so I need to change it and was wondering what everyone else is using.

Try one of the t-bolt clamps with the springs, if that don't work I'd go with a v-band clamp. Wig clamps are crazy expensive still.

Good luck,

Brett

I use t-bolt c-clamps and silicone connectors from turbonetics. They hold great. I have never seen anyone use v-band clamps on the cold side of a turbo, except directol off the turbo, but it definatly sounds like a VERY expensive adventure. Also if you were to use v-bands you would have a very rigid system. So when the engine is twisting the pipes woudl really be fighting. With silicone connectors they provide a little flex which is really needed for a street application. If one of your pipes hits the pavement, which mine ocasionally do if i hit a pot hole, ya could be lookin at quite a bit of damage if the system is real tight like it would be with v-band clamps. For the record i havent a clue what wiggins clamps are. My whole exhaust is help together by v-bands and i love it. Enables me to keep my exhaust up out of the way with out hangers. GL man

I told you about the clamps that are on my Supra. Actually I was referring to the brackets.
