Default Will timin change when boost heats up?

I was wondering, when im out on a cold night will the timing change from what Ken at ESP set it at? We tuned the car in 70* weather and at night it can get as low as 50*. Will the timing change in those different climates after he has set the timing? Thanks guys

depends on how they mapped timing vs IAT and timing vs ECT as well as a number of other tables but those are 2 big ones.

efilive i believe will show you how the car arrived at it's timing value when you datalog so you can target the specific reason for it not being where you want it. not sure if tuners does this or not.

So they could have set it to stay at a certain advance adn stay there? They told me that they set it at 13*. Main reason that i am asking is that when i got my turbo kit i was lazy and didnt put the IAT sensor into the intake piping. So currently it is sitting sip tied to a vaccum hose next to the TB and is reading underhood temps and not intake temps. So tonight when i integrate it back into the intake piping it will be reading the actual intake temp and it will be near on 100* cooler. I didnt think of this till i was thinkin of how i am gonna make it work inthe intake piping and how much cooler it is gonna think that the intake temps are. Thanks for the help!

well the timing wont go any higher unless for some wacky reason they set some tables to add timing. you wont normally see that.

so if your iat is now going to read lower then if the car was pulling any timing due to the IAT temps it wont now.

they datalogged when they tuned it right? so they knew exactly what the car was doing, not just assuming?

Aye they used ls1 edit and logged it all. Ok cool i was kinda worried that it might e pushing alot mroe timing since it would be a much more dense air mixture. Thanks man

It won't add timing.
