not inside, like where the fuel is. the harness runs down the other side of the rail from stock, closer to the manifold. You don't see it as much that way.

ah, from what he said I though you guys were running them inside the fuel rail as well. cause that woul make it a pain in the *** to work with if you had spliced it or something and needed to get into it.

I finished up the harness last night, so it should be in the car when I get to the shop tonight.

Injector driver box needs to go it, and I should have the wiring side of things done underhood.

Next is the cluster repin for my old 99+ cluster. Gotta have a dash on a street car

What kind motor mounts...solid, poly, or are you going to end up running the plate in the front?

Impressive doesn't do that project justice. Can you share some specs on the intercooler?

A NCRC One piece 10" is about $1200 to start. The one that is in Kevin's car is one of the two that I have. It's a few extra dollars over $1500 though. By far it's the best converter in the business.

A Rossler TH400 starts around $1200 for a bare bones basic I believe. This one pretty much has every option except the 2.10 first gear. It'll be going back to Rossler to get freshened up before I abuse it again. The upper end Rossler TH400's are between $3000 and $4500 for the TH210 (TH400 with a 2.10 first gear).

For Kevin's car I highly doubt the trans and converter are going to have any problems moving it down the track!

Not hard, just time consuming. Instead of moving pins around on the exisiting connectors, i dug up an extra set. Made a list via service manual pinouts for the 2 years. 98 pin X moves to 99 pin X, and just went down the list one by one.

Took me about 3 hours to move them all, but that was chatting along the way. Also trimmed out the unneed stuff from the harness, EGR, purge, etc.

I still have to repin the cluster connector, as we need to swap to a newer cluster so the gauge functions work. The 98 cluster used alot of dedicated signals for the gauges, much like the LT1 clusters. But the 99+ went to serial data like you read via a scan tool.

They are in-house solid, to make room for the 4" exhaust

Can't run a plate, as we plan to run this in the Extreme Mod class for the Tech series and no plate's alowed.
