Default Does one cylinder go before the rest?

Hi folks,

In the 5.0 world, with forced induction the #8 is almost always the first to go (because that runner in the intake flows the best, so it's leanest).

Those of you that have blown up motors, which cylinder went south first?

PCV oil mist collects in the intake floor, and is pushed by airflow to the very back. This oil is pushed through the rearmost tube which leads into cylinder 7 near the brake booster. Excess oil causes detonation in cylinder 7, which usually cracks off an edge of the piston. A chunk of piston is hard to compress in the quench area, piston rotates around the pin and tries to expand cylinder. If it does this enough times, the cylinder cracks, and the block needs replacement.

Everyone I've heard of blew #7. Sometimes other cylinders go too, but if it's only one cylinder, it always seems to be #7.

Ive seen a few engines blow(typically around 9sec. cars), 90% of the time #7&8 will blow because they run the hottest!!!....
