rocker arms and emissions

rocker arms and emissions Okay, i'm going to get the STS kit and at the same time have 918 springs, chromemoly pushrods and possible comp TI retainers installed. As one of those "while it's opened up..." I was thining about installing crane rocker arms (i think they have a 1.8 or 1.85 ratio). My questions are: is this a worthwile mod on soon to be FI car? 2nd: Will this affect my car's emissions (CA - the STS just passed CARB testing last week)? 3rd. let's say i wait and install them later (just to save money now ~$4-500) will i need a re-tune?

i take it you have a stock cam ATM,1.8's will obviously raise your lift and such so you'll at the least have to check PTV clearance,but other than that you shouldnt NEED a tune for just rockers,obviously itd help though.

yeah i have a stock cam. gotcha about the tune. maybe i'll do it now or just wait until i do the front mount IC later on down the line and have it tuned all at once (nearest tuner is 3 hrs away). thanks for the info!
