will my head and cam setup work on a supercharger

i was thinking of buy a supercharger and was wondering if my current head/cam setup woulf work with it i have a TSP228 cam and ported and polished ls1 heads that are milled .36

It really depends on the CR your at right now.

Thats a little on the higher side you really want to be around 10:1 or lower. I'd check around a little bit more before you take 100% from me though. Some people might have been able to get it to work with it that high, but I'm not sure. I do know that most people that have blown there engine, usually have 9.5:1 or lower!!

my next question is if its ok to use that comp ratio then how much boost is safe on it?

I know it wouldnt be much, but you could probably squeez out anywhere from 8-12psi if tuned and fueled properly. Then again I'm not 100% sure on the higher side number
