fuel system with supercharger i want to run a vortech s-trim with 6# boost, and with this kit you get the t-rex inline pump and the FMU. I've asked around and people say that i should just run the t-rex pump and bigger injectors.(would be safer). why would this setup be safer than runnin the FMU? and if i decide to do this,would 42# be too big

When The FMU is applied with boost your fuel pressure will rise with the boost making your stock injectors run richer (spray more fuel for that instant) then Vortech or ATI which , reprogram the PCM to apply even more fuel at top end. So with more FUEL Pressure alone your still going to run lean. So you re edit to make you car run richer at top end like the manufactures would now your going to be maxing out your injectors, your (duty cycle is now going up) and still might not provide the nessessary fuel and at least not efficiently. all these kits atleast come with bigger injectors
