Bucking hard
Bucking hard Well i was out drivin tonight for about 5 minutes and i got on teh highway and stomped on it. There was a little hesitation at 8 psi while building boost adn then it went away and was fine. Next time i get on it about 30 seconds later it bucks like crazy. It is getting to about 5 psi and then buckin so violently that it wont accelerate any higher. I try featherin it to go faster with no luck. So i figure i have blown a IC pipe off. Pull over and check everythign and there is nothign loose or even close to comin off. Revved the engine from under the hood adn it builds pressure enough to make the BOV do its job. I did notice that there was quite a bit of condensation coming out of the BOV. Not a ton but alot more then i was expecting. There is a ton of fog out tonight, can cut the air with a knife.
Only thing that i can think of is that since i was only out for a couple minutes that the IC was cool enough that when teh hot air from teh turbo passed through it caused condensation and the water was either messin with teh MAF or jsut got into the combustion chamber and bogged it. Any ideas? I turned down the boost a bit to liike 9 psi and it didnt have this problem but it definatly didnt feel liek itself. Sluggish feeling.
This had happened to me the other night. Was near on teh same circumstances, foggy clammy, but i had been driving for a while gettin on it quite a few times. The next day it was back to normal. As if the incident had never happened. Well thanks for any help guys!
