Just when I start leaning one way, someone has a great post that makes me lean the other way. Keep it up, there are some very good thoughts here.

When I do finally get blown, I was planning on getting some 6.0L heads to drop the compression a bit and hopefully flow a little better. Don't know if that will change people's thoughts.

The only benifit I see in getting the intake over a cam would be the benefit from it during the duration you aren't blown. (you would make more power right now). Ultimately I would go with a cam cause in the long run it will be more beneficial than an intake. You can always port match the LS1 (to an extent) to the 6.0 heads. Like hugger orange ss said an intake doesn't make a huge difference on FI like a cam would

I was in the same situation before I went to forced induction. I was going to take the same path you are on. I wanted to replace my heads and cam before installing the blower. But when the time came I went for the blower and passed on the heads and cam. Reasons why, if I were to replace cam and heads before the blower, I am sure I would have had some problems runing in a N/A configuration with a larger set of heads and a cam (blower cam). And not knowing how long it would be before I could intsall the blower.

There fore I took the path with the stock block, and installed the blower. Have had no problems with the choice I took. I am making 540hp 534tq with no problems. I would think you would have no problem whats so ever to make the same amount if not more with your LS1 manifold vs a LS6.
I am currently runing 1.85 rocker arms which were fine in the N/A setup as well and appear to work even better in my F/I setup. So with your cam you should be fine untill it becomes time to upgrade.

With a F/I setup there is no problem using a LS1 manifold, the only time you would see differance would be in a N/A config. The gain in power would not offset the price, save that money for other needed units when installing the blower.

Or at least swap out the cam when you do the blower install. As for a good blower cam there has been good info and out comes with the Lingenfelter
